1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Varium SQL ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

2. License Grant

2.1 Free Version

The free version of Varium SQL is provided under a limited license for personal and commercial use, subject to the feature limitations described on our website.

2.2 Lifetime License

Upon purchase of a Lifetime License, you are granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the full version of the Software on up to 3 devices that you personally own or control.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Software
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
  • Share your license key with others

4. Updates and Support

Lifetime License holders are entitled to all future updates to the Software at no additional cost. We will make reasonable efforts to provide support, but we do not guarantee response times or resolution of all issues.

5. Pricing and Feature Changes

Pricing, features, and licensing models are subject to change at any time. However, users who purchase a license retain all benefits that were available and advertised at the time of their purchase. For example:

  • If you purchase a Lifetime License, you keep lifetime access regardless of future pricing changes
  • If we introduce new pricing tiers, your existing license remains unchanged
  • Price increases only apply to new customers, not existing license holders

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Database Connection Disclaimer

Varium SQL is a tool that connects to databases you provide. We are not responsible for:

  • Data loss resulting from queries you execute
  • Security breaches of your database systems
  • Unauthorized access to your database credentials stored locally
  • Any damage to your database or data resulting from use of the Software

You are solely responsible for backing up your data and using the Query Guard feature appropriately.

9. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for Lifetime License purchases. If you are not satisfied with the Software, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After this period, all sales are final.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
